Hello!
My name is Antonia and I graduated from the AECC Chiropractic University with a First Class Masters degree in Chiropractic, MChiro.
I am the founder of BodyFit Chiropractic and am forever grateful to have been able to help so many fabulous patients!
I have a special interest in treating acute back, neck and Shoulder/ Rotator Cuff Pain and am continually humbled at how quickly chiropractic care can ease these painful injuries and improve the quality of life for my patients.
I believe that it is important to treat the functional cause of the injury instead of chasing the symptoms and so I often incorporate rehabilitative and preventative measures into my treatment plans to ensure long-term recovery.
I have been described as a 'Hybrid Chiropractor' because of the integrated treatment approach I take.
I take the best bits of Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Sports Exercise and Massage Therapy, to give the best possible care for my patients.
My treatments include:
- Chiropractic Adjustments, for spinal mobility, nerve stimulation and muscle activation
- Dry Needling/ Medical Acupuncture, for muscle, trigger point and soft tissue release, as well as Central Nervous System and Blood Flow Stimulation
- Activator, for joint mobilisation and nerve stimulation
- IASTM/ Graston Blade, for fascia release and blood flow stimulation
- Trigger Point Therapy, Active Release and PIR stretching for targeted soft tissue release
- Kinesio Taping, for muscle proprioception and activation
- Postural advice, form and lifting corrections for performance optimisation and injury prevention , exercises and stretches, to further improve at home
Sports and fitness have always been important features in my life and I enjoy treating sports injuries to help people reach their full potential.
I have a special interest in treating athletes and incorporate a mixture of chiropractic care and sports rehabilitation exercises to ensure they reach optimum function and performance in their chosen sport.
I have a special interest in Paediatric Chiropractic and treating women both during and after pregnancy. There is so much Chiropractors can do for babies and expecting mummies; please feel free to have a chat with me, to see if I can help.
I love what I do and what I can do for my patients.
Chiropractic lets me use my knowledge and skills to directly impact a persons quality of life; I find it the most rewarding and exciting job and I hope to be able to help you!
Hello!
My name is Becks and I’m delighted to offer you my skills as a Sports Massage Therapist at Bodyfit Chiropractic!
I am a level 5 Sports Massage Therapist and employ a variety of soft tissue techniques, including Graston, PIR stretching, Active Release and Trigger Point Therapy.
Having gained my first massage qualification at 16, it’s fair to say, that I’ve been practicing manual therapy for a while now!
I’ve always had a passion for health and fitness and have a special interest in the link between mental health and how it manifests physically throughout the body.
After experiencing my own health struggles, due to a Hyper Mobility Condition, where I developed chronic fatigue, joint pain, muscle soreness and brain fog, I realised just how significant our mental health is, not only in how we feel, but also in the physical symptoms we experience in our bodies.
I have a passion for treating athletes and sports people and know first-hand how frustrating it can be when we can’t perform to our best abilities, due to pain or injury.
Through Sports Massage, I can directly improve a person’s quality of life, by: helping them reach their goals, flourish in their hobbies and giving them the chance to improve all aspects of their day-to-day life!
In my spare time, I love sea swimming and paddle boarding and keep as active as I can!
If you haven’t already guessed, I love what I do and am constantly amazed by the human body and its abilities! It’s a privilege to be able to help people achieve their goals and be trusted to be a part of their journey.
It is an extremely rewarding profession and I love every minute of it!
I am thrilled to be a part of the Bodyfit team and I look forwards to meeting you soon!
Hi I'm Vic!
If you are an athlete, you will know that we don't like being told to stop training! My passion to pursue a career in Sports Massage started because of this: I always wanted to solve both mine and my friend's running niggles, so that we could constantly perform to our best abilities without injury or pain!
I have been qualified since 2016 and since then, have undertaken many extra therapeutic and rehabilitation courses to allow me to provide the best quality of care for my patients. These include: therapeutic ultrasound, KA taping and Graston.
The best part of my job? Well, it’s all of it, but it’s mainly YOU and the satisfaction that I get when I am able to support you in becoming the very best versions of yourself.
Everyone is unique and I love tailoring treatment plans to suit each individual patient’s body, goals and needs.
The human body continues to fascinate me; it is our mode of transport through life. I love my job as I am able to help you experience life to its fullest and let you see just how incredible your body is!
I love all things health and fitness but running, mixed with weight training and cycling, are what I enjoy most.
With a previous background in the corporate world, I am also aware of the stresses and strains working at a desk can put on our bodies. Likewise, being a mum of a toddler, I am also very aware of the physical and emotional demands parenthood brings.
Thus, my passion for treating and helping patients extends to everyone!
Sports Massage is not just for athletes or just to treat injuries. Everyone and anyone can benefit.
Whether its neck pain, from sitting at a desk all day, back pain, from picking up your children and holding them on one hip, knee pain, from being on your feet all day, or even, simply because you enjoy the benefits of a deep tissue massage, I can help with all!!
So, I’m Vic and I’m excited to meet you and treat you, so you can experience the benefits of sports massage and allow me to restore you back to you and beyond!
Welcome! I’m Liberty, and it’s a pleasure to meet you here.
My approach to health is rooted in the belief that within us all, is a natural capacity to heal and feel well. Sometimes, we just need a gentle guide to help us realise and connect with this potential. That’s where I come in! To listen to and support your body in connecting to its innate wisdom, and set up the conditions in which healing can unfold.
I enjoy welcoming people of all ages and walks of life into the clinic, from newborns to the elderly. I love that acupuncture has something to offer for everyone seeking health, whatever the symptoms or life circumstances.
An area of special interest for me is children’s and women’s health, as well as the psycho-emotional component of healing—whether symptoms involve stress, sleep, fatigue, digestion, muscular-skeletal or joint pain, or something else. In Chinese medicine, physical, mental, and emotional health are understood to be interconnected.
This is something I find deeply fascinating and liberating. By recognising the underlying frameworks of our dis-ease, we can choose to instead re-orientate ourselves to wellness and health.
In our sessions, I’ll spend time listening to your pulse, palpating acupuncture channels and I may look at your tongue. These help to identify where tension patterns are held in the body.
I use traditional techniques including acupuncture, moxa, cupping, and gua sha. For children’s sessions, it is possible to treat without needles.
My own journey into acupuncture began in the foothills of Central America, where I lived and studied with my first teacher, Scott. Through him, I was introduced to the art of Chinese medicine alongside Eastern philosophy, yoga, and meditation. This profound experience sparked what has become a lifelong devotion to Daoist medicine and a deep commitment to supporting others on their path to wellness.
Over the past seven years, I have had the privilege of teaching yoga, facilitating wellness events, and earning a BSc (Hons) in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, as well as a Diploma in Paediatric Acupuncture. Currently, I am immersed in an 18-month apprenticeship in classical Chinese medicine, refining my knowledge and skills to better serve my clients.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find me at my candle-lit desk, absorbed in the writings of world-renowned Chinese medicine scholars or translations of the ancient classics.
Otherwise, I may be taking in some views from the beautiful New Forest. My favourite way to relax is a late night stroll at the beach, or a quiet wonder through the tall, misty pine forests with my lively springador pup, Bella.
I am deeply privileged to get to do the work I do, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey of well-being.
We post a lot of advice/ stretches/ exercises and answer questions on our Instagram and Facebook
